How can I have strong faith?

So here goes.. I happen to pass by Yengs blog, the famous singer btw, and started reading all her articles about God. I envy her because she already made a very strong relationship with God, I mean, she talks like a complete person, she seems so content with her life. And I just want to be just like her, not being a popular singer slash fashionista though. Lol. I want to feel content as well. I am way too tired with insecurities, pride, etc.. I hate to go on never ending cycle of nothingness, I WANT MY LIFE TO EXPERIENCE REAL HAPPINESS, I WANT IT TO BE FROM GOD. But how?? I feel so lost :((
